Last name?

I'm working on a book, and I need to figure out the last name of my main characters parents (she's an orphan, so she doesn't meet them until later). Any good surname suggestions for people named Thomas, Melanie, and Ivy?

My source of surnames is the US Census Bureau's list of surnames from most to least popular. Every name in America is there. It is a blast to surf through and match up names. I like ones that are unusual, but not too unusual. I keep the site bookmarked so I can get to it easily. Pax-C
