What is a decent price for a tattoo of my last name down my side/ribs?

My last name is Pelletier if that helps anyone..and i want to get it in old english script. not too sure on the size of the lettering, but nothing too big and out of proportion.

What is a decent price for a tattoo of my last name down my side/ribs?
I personally wouldnt dare get a tatoo . Have you heard the risks of it ?
Reply:Depends on the colors you want, the size, the detail...also depends on the artists expertise. The better tattoo artists charge more because they do better work. One thing to remember, a cheaply priced tattoo is just that...CHEAP. Also, look to see if your artist has a minimum (ie. $65/hr). Do your homework on local tattoo artists...I have a great one here in Cincinnati that I would recommend to anyone.

Hope this helps.
Reply:my bf got his name down his ribs. i think his was around 200 .

its extremely painful. so remember to eat before you go and drink water and most importantly, breathe properly.
Reply:It depends on the size of the lettering. Also diffrent tattoo shops have different pricing so make sure you shop. Every area and state is different something that cost 750 in the south will cost 1100 up north. It is by location go to the different shops tell them what you want and the script and get an estimate probably run you over a grand since your last name is long. Like i said it is a different price by location and shop also more experienced artists cost a lot more than an apprentice. Just make sure before you get ink done that it is what you really want. ALWAYS check out the tattoo parlor before you get inked. Best of luck.
Reply:5-10 $$ per letter.That's for a cursive script,about 1 x 1 inch per letter.I'd say 100 dollars would be more than enough.
Reply:The price of a tattoo depends on...

1. The hourly rate of the tattooist

2. The speed at which they work

3. The size of the canvas they are working on

So as you can see, it is pretty hard for someone on here to give you an accurate answer. Only a consultation with a tattooist can give you that answer.

Also bear in mind that you get what you pay for which is why there are lots of people out there in the world trying to cover up their regret.
Reply:The price is going to depend on the shop and artist. The best way to get a price is to go to the shop you want to have your tattoo work done at and talk to the artist. There is a saying that goes.... Good tattoos aren't cheap and Cheap tattoos aren't cheap. I hope this helps. Good Luck !
Reply:if its in black and around a medium size lettering my guess is 100-150 depending on what city your in. Good luck
