A friend of mine adopted a baby with the last name of Dequtis and wanted to know what the origin of the name is or what ethnic group the name is. Does anyone know how to find out?

The name Dequtis almost does not exist. There are only two people in the US with this name, both male.


Only 3 immigrants in the census, one from Rotterdam and 2 from Italy.
