How do you monogram a hyphenated last name?

I have four initials. When i sign my initials for something i usually sign the letters from my first name and both letters of my hyphenated name, leaving out my middle name. If i am getting something monogrammed, should i use the beginning letter of my hyphenated last name with my middle name, or leave out my middle name altogether?

both can be done and in a nice font the hyphenation works.
Reply:I have been using my original 3 initals: first, middle and maiden. Since technically my maiden name is how everything is alphabetized the hyphen-last does not get recognition. I have been doing my 3 initials for almost 12 years! Report Abuse

Reply:And don't forget to put your title (HRH, Her Royal Highness) Into a monogram.
