How do i write my last name in Mayan Heiroglyphics?
This won麓t write your name in maya hieroglyphs. It will simply translate your English font to Maya font.

Reply:booo..... That font page really is useless to actually make meaningful Mayan words, you might as well use wingdings it would be about as acurate. stupid voters. Report Abuse

Reply:Sorry to say but that font page is a load of crap.

The Mayan language can not be translated in that way. The Mayan script is logosyllabic combining logograms (which represent whole words) and syllabograms (which represent syllables). As well there were also glyphs representing place names and the names of gods but not individual letters, the language just doesn't work that way. That was part of the problem with the "key" Diego de Landa compiled matching Mayan syllables to the 27 Spanish letters. It just didn't work. They Mayan he forced to write it simply did his best to match the sounds of the Spanish letters to Mayan Syllables.

You would need to figure out the syllables of you last name and find the glyphs that best match it. Even then there would be multiple options.

I would suggest that you write your birthday or the day your project is due, something like that would be a lot easier unless your teacher specifically asked you to write your last name.
