I have a yahoo email and I already changed my last name on teh edit page and it changed successfully. But when I send someone an email, it still says it's from ME with my OLD last name. Thank you.
How do I get my new last name to show on emails that I send to others?
OK, now you need to change the "from line" setting.
Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;scroll to and click on "general preferences".
At the top of that page, under *Names and Emails*----erase the "old last name" and type in the new name, or a nickname or whatever suits you-----then click "save" at bottom of page.
In case you're using the "New Mail" upgrade----go to mail page%26gt;%26gt;options%26gt;%26gt;mail options%26gt;%26gt;accounts (side panel)%26gt;%26gt;add/edit an account%26gt;%26gt;Yahoo mail (side panel)%26gt;%26gt;edit%26gt;%26gt;general preferences--------and change it and save it.
